the actual michael...
Michael Arthur Holloway became involved with music roundabout age 17, when he plugged an ancient Casio keyboard into his PC and recorded amateur synth-pop tunes with Windows Recorder. This admittedly hopeless endeavor led to greater aspirations, and by age 19 Michael had recorded numerous electronic songs under the Pet of the Future moniker. A handful of these tracks appeared on various local and national industrial-music compilations.
After a few years as an electro/industrial composer, Michael abandoned the Pet of the Future project and focused his attention on learning stringed instruments, namely the guitar. Since then, Michael's creative output has been divided between electronic composition, guitar-based songwriting, and film-score composition.
Michael's current band is Quaker Boxer, a home-recorded indie-pop project. The first QB album, titled "A Handful of Stars," was recently completed. Check the "other music" page for .mp3 files.
